NETSEA September 16 Breakfast Event: Sales Readiness and Skills Development

Participants to Discuss Best Practices for Sales Excellence with Enhanced Sales Readiness

Waltham, Mass.—August 23, 2010NETSEA, the New England Technology Sales Executives Association, today announced its quarterly educational and networking event, “Achieving Sales Excellence via Sales Readiness and Skills Development,” will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2010, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Progress Software’s Corporate Headquarters in Bedford, Mass.

A panel of leading sales readiness executives will discuss cutting-edge sales processes, tools and training tactics for enterprises to excel in today’s radically changing and turbulent marketplace. Key points of discussion will include new product rollout readiness programs, new hire readiness programs and principled negotiation skills for getting past “no.”

Panelists John Maxwell (CA Technologies), Denise Panagiotakopoulos (Progress Software) and Bob Davis (McCourt Associates) will share real-world success stories that illustrate the positive impact an effective and enhanced sales readiness training program can have on a company’s bottom line.

“The success or failure of any company’s go-to-market strategy depends greatly on the readiness of its sales organization,” said Scott Devens, board chairman and president of NETSEA. “Sales excellence cannot be achieved by companies that view sales training as an annual event. Education of a sales force needs to be continuous, especially in high-tech companies where new products and solutions are introduced to field organizations numerous times each year. Our panelists will highlight the major areas where sales readiness, combined with the fundamental strengths of an enterprise, can put your company above and beyond the competition.”

For more information on each of the panelists, read their bios online at http://www.netsea.org/news/event_09-16-10.html

Following the panel discussion, a Q&A session will allow attendees to ask questions specific to their organization and situation.
